- Grant Writing: researching grants and selecting the best ones for your organization; helping you plan a grant-seeking strategy and calendar; writing and preparing all types of grant applications and budgets; review grant applications you write to make sure they're correct; providing coaching and traing to you and your staff.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
Paul Mastrodonato, President & Management Specialist of Nonprofit Works, has spent the last 13 years working with nonprofit organizations including 8 years as the executive director of the Rochester Landscape Technicians Program. He specializes in creating strategic plans and writing grants.

EDUCATION & SPECIALIZED TRAINING:
Paul Mastrodonato holds a master's degree in public administration from SUNY Brockport. He is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the American Society of Public Administrators.

RECENT & REPRESENTATIVE CONSULTING WORK:
- 7/02-present: Genesee Valley Council on the Arts (GVCA) in Mt. Morris, NY is a regional arts council serving rural Livingston County. Nonprofit Works built and mantains the GVCA website. Starting in July of 2002, we also built and maintain a new membership database for GVCA.
- 4/02-present: Grant writing, research and development for Rochester Contemporary.
- 2/02-present: Grant writing, research and development for The Commission Project in Rochester, NY.
- 12/01-present: Opera Rochester; feasibility study and continuing market research.
- Arts and Cultural Council for Greater Rochester serves Monroe County, NY as the regional cultural service provider. Nonprofit Works offered two training workshops for this organization: one was a computer group training session in use of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; the other was a research, development and writing session for their member organizations in grantsmanship.
- 9/99-present: Rochester Broadway Theatre League: work done in grant writing, research and development.

FEE:
$70 -90 per hour, depending on service, person, number of hours.

The Alliance of New York State Arts Organizations has a 29-year history as New York s service association for community based arts and cultural organizations. The Alliance provides leadership and vision, and delivers services, resources and tools that strengthen cultural organizations. The Alliance informs the field on statewide and national issues affecting the arts and assists local arts agencies in building community support.
