QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
hMA has worked with theater companies, orchestras, galleries, and poets to develop art spaces that address a range of concerns. Projects include urban design and the application of green technologies. Services include a full package of rendered drawings for fund-raising purposes. Since its founding, hMA has received awards from Progressive Architecture magazines, the AIANY Chapter, Architectural Record Magazine and the Eugene McDermott Award for Outstanding Design Talent from MIT. Both partners were invited participants in the Architectural League's programs to recognize outstanding talent: Young Architects and Emerging Voices. In 2000 the Art Commission of the City of New York gave hMA an award for Design excellent for the Hunts Point Performance Center in the Bronx. hMA's work has been featured at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, had has been published in numerous architectural publications.

EDUCATION & SPECIALIZED TRAINING:
- Victoria Meyers has a M. Arch. from Harvard's Graduate School of Design; A.B. in Art History/Civil Engineering, Lafayette College. An apprenticeship in the office of British architect Richard Rogers exposed her to an environmentally complex approach to building design, emphasizing a unique systems approach to mechanical, structural and other energy related systems.
- Thomas Hanarahan has a M.Arch, from Harvard's Graduate School of Design; and B.Arch. from the University of Illinois. He is a specialist in urban design and planning and brings an extensive knowledge and experience of European design to the practice.

RECENT & REPRESENTATIVE CONSULTING WORK:
1. Dieu Donne Papermill, New York, NY 2004 - 2006. Design for new studio and offices; provided 3-D renderings for fundraising. Contact: Dona Warner 212-226-0573 x 304

2. The Kitchen, New York, NY; 2002. Developed collaborative desig for resident composers. Contact: Michael Scumacher 212-719-4393

3. Juliana Curran Terian Pratt Pavilon, Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY; project completed 2006. Designed a new center at Pratt, with a new lobby and public gallery, and artist studios inserted between 2 existing industrial loft building that hMA also renovated. Contact: Richard Scheer 718-399-4463

4. Marfa Theater, Marfa TX; 2002. Lighting design services; a new curtain and backstage areas; dressing areas and green room for this regional theatre that features plays by Texas writers. Contact: Michelle Dehart 915-729-4890

5. Ojai Festivals, Ltd, Ojai, CA; 2002 - 03. Worked with Najata Acoustics to develop a new shell capable of seating the full Los Angeles Philharmonic and accomodating other performance groups. Contact: Jacqueline Saunders, 805-646-2094

The Alliance of New York State Arts Organizations has a 29-year history as New York s service association for community based arts and cultural organizations. The Alliance provides leadership and vision, and delivers services, resources and tools that strengthen cultural organizations. The Alliance informs the field on statewide and national issues affecting the arts and assists local arts agencies in building community support.
