DAY IN ALBANY I have been named as a Regional Captain in the Alliance of New York State Arts Organizations statewide network. As a valued member, associate and affiliate of Delaware Valley Arts Alliance I call your attention to a very important event that can influence the future of the cultural community in New York State
Please join me at Arts Day in Albany, Tuesday March 22, 2005. In order to attend, please register here.
Along with 600 arts advocates from all over the state, we will support a $2 million increase to the New York State Council on the Arts and urge passage of the Cultural Development Areas Bill this session. In order to attend we need to you register. You also might wish to feature your organization in the Arts Day Showcase. To do that please fill out this form. If you would like to reserve a parking place in Albany, please contact the Alliance.
The Alliance is also offering a grassroots advocacy training session online with executive director and Arts Advocate par excellence, Judy Weiner on March 10. This training session is free and preregistration is required.
We
need to gain the attention of our legislators in Albany. Your attendance as part
of our regional delegation advocating for more arts money and for the Cultural
Development bill is more important than ever. Elaine
